Just about the toughest things for most of us is managing our emotions and actions that center around things that are outside our control. It’s frustrating and scary for many of us, enough making it a front-runner in the source of stress in most people. We can’t control the traffic, the weather, or what other people say, think or do. Yet, everyone is SO wrapped around the axle trying. Make this the year you get super mindful about letting go of the factors you can’t control, and those issues that cease to serve you. It’s going to take practice, but you’ll soon come to find your blood pressure dropping, your joy rising, as well as your results more consistent. So how can you do it? It’s not magic – it’s mindfulness. It’s Deciding to choose the good, notice the positive, and stay in the moment – instead of let influences of negativity and worry take the wheel. It’s about carefully choosing your thoughts and actions and understanding the incredible gift of releasing the emotion connected to the outcome of things.
