This is typically the time when we are out with our children shopping for school supplies, new school clothes and getting ready to go back to school. But Covid has prompted many school districts to start this school year online. Students and teachers alike are faced with the uncertainty of what school will look like for the 2020/21 school year, but one thing is for sure: this year every parent in the world has learned what it takes to be a teacher, and we are all very appreciative of our teachers.
Time for School
Teachers care, they are patient, they have extensive knowledge of their subject and understand how to deliver their message in a way that impacts the life of others. Everyone remembers that teacher who had an impact of their life, and in some cases, changed their life. When someone teaches from the heart, knowledge transference occurs, and lives are changed. Regardless of how our children are taught this year, teachers help mold and shape the lives of our future leaders. They help children navigate challenging topics and challenging times. This year, for those who are in the classrooms, they are also among those at greatest risk.
Hats off to all the teachers throughout the world and for the job they do each day. Through their sacrifice they make the world a better place.
Something to Think About
How our children learn has changed and many of those changes may impact the way we educate our young people in the future.
