As we start off 2017, first we should reflect on 2016 and take the good, the bad and the ugly, so we can truly make positive changes in our lives. And what comes to mind immediately is gratitude. We would first like to thank all of our loyal clients for their support and referrals. Just having that has blessed us in so many ways that we never imagined in our life.
Focus on Gratitude You Cannot Go Wrong
2016 was an amazing year for us. Nicholas our son joined in the family business in the latter part of 2015, so it was our first full year of having him on board. He definitely brought a new perspective to us. His insights and view on life has assisted us in connecting with the millennial generation. And yes, for us old folks who are set in our way, since we remember hearing when we were growing up. “It’s my way, or the highway!” Or perhaps, “Your bags are already packed, so when you turn 18, you’re on your own!”
Realizing that just because that is the way we saw growing up, doesn’t mean it is the way it has to be today, was a hard pill for Nick to swallow, but he is starting to see the light! Nicholas also purchased his first home in December of 2016, so we are now empty-nesters. (sorta)
We had to say good-bye to one of our dogs. Comet had been with us for almost 16 years and was really an amazingly good part of our life.
In reflecting on our business and all the technology at our fingertips, a couple of years ago we started assembling a map of all our sales for each year. So this year is not any different. in 2016 we had 74 closings and of those 12 were 2 sided, which means we represented the Buyer and Seller. And here is the map:
We covered a wide range in 2016. We actually assisted on of our long time clients purchase their new home in Ormond Beach. Which was really cool. Cindy enjoyed going over for inspections (and staying a few days on Daytona Beach) And actually when closing was scheduled we drove over the day before stayed the night on the beach as well. Met our clients for final walk through and after closing drove to Bluffington South Carolina, for the weekend in a log cabin. Now, how can you not have gratitude.
2017 our goal in continually assist our clients with all of their real estate needs here in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. And be grateful for who and what we have in our lives.
