So are bed sheets made from silver. It’s a huge week for ridiculous sheets. Do you hate washing bed sheets? Do you hate washing them a lot more than you hate washing other things, like clothes? That’s weird, however if you are now living in the Boston area, there is now a startup offering “laundry-free bedding” that are supposed to be disposed of after two weeks.
Disposable bed sheets for college kids are now an item
The company, called Bean-town Bedding, concentrates on college students and it was founded by two mothers that were concerned about their college-aged never washing their sheets. Which makes sense up until you think about the fact that when these kids are not taking any time to launder their sheets, they may be probably not going to take the time to dispose of and replace their sheets either, right? Doesn’t throwing out a set of sheets require approximately the same amount of energy as washing it?
Anyway, the sheets are allegedly biodegradable, so that’s nice.
If you’re trying to find some sheets that you don’t need to dispose of immediately, however, consider these ones, that happen to be crafted from real silver. They recently completed an outrageously successful crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. Apparently the silver prevents bacteria from growing.
What a time to be the proprietor of a company that produces ridiculous sheets.
