The final blog on the garage makeover at our house. Nick was surprised today when the remaining boxes came a day early from Amazon. They were supposed to come tomorrow, but watching FEDEX Nick saw that they were on the truck from for delivery. So naturally he headed home a little early to finish the garage.
Completed Garage Makeover
The left side of the garage is where Nick Parks his Jeep and we have dubbed this side the spot for our Real Estate Signs and Nick’s stuff. The dual lockers across the back have an assortment of things stored in them, mostly paint from projects in the house, brushes, and a variety of household items.
The right side cabinet, has Jeep Parts, (extra of course) cleaning supplies, and sprinkler and screen parts. We have the outside space heater which we have used once since we purchased it 4 years ago.
We decided to keep the coolers so if we ever get a chance to get away to the beach, we will have something to bring our refreshments. The FastTrack System was very easy to install. But if we can suggest one thing, invest in a good set of Masonry Drill Bits. They made things so much easier! It was a few dollars more, but definitely worth it in the long run. This side is where Cindy parks here car, so Nick really wanted to make it clear of everything so it would be nice and easy when she was pulling into the garage.
Then we transition into the work area. Nick purchased the Husky Tool Chest and Work Bench Combination. It has more than enough room for storing everything and still can be used when working on any project.
And lastly this is what I previously referred to as where you could park a Miata. Have the overflow refrigerator another Wall locker, which we have our Flags and wreaths for the front door which we have one for each season and some special occasions. As you can see we continued with the FastTrack over on this wall and took full use of our space .
