For many people, change is tough, especially when it comes to long-time habits. Tough doesn’t mean impossible though and leaning into the healthy habits that will make you, your business, and your relationships stronger can be a powerful way to set a new pace for the year ahead.
LOVED this article by Psychology Today – which doesn’t sugarcoat the need to have a frank discussion with yourself, but also promotes 10 terrific steps to changing unhealthy habits. What I think is different about it is how it promotes honoring yourself, being kind to yourself, and allowing yourself to take baby steps to change if necessary. In a world full of critics and so much chaos, the idea that you don’t add your own critical voice to that noise is essential.
This month, honor the changes that will bring you more peace, health, prosperity, and joy – not because the world says you should change, but because you deserve all of those things and more.
Creating Healthy Habits
Something to Think About
Your life is a gift and one worth celebrating and nurturing daily. True change starts in our minds, then in the little things we choose to do daily. Things like honoring our bodies with more movement and less junk (food and news) or honoring our businesses with new skills and better time management – consider what you can do starting today to start crafting a life you love.
