So at our home we have altered our numbers slightly and we are very comfortable when we are at home. And have seen that our utility bill is not that high. We do have a honeywell smart thermostat that is programmable and have it set to adjust through the day and night according to our schedule. What is nice is if say for instance we are home at a time when we are normally away. We can adjust temperature on air conditioning and it will hold to the next scheduled time, then automatically goes back on its normal schedule.
• 78° F when we’re at home
• 82° F when we’re out of the house (we have two small dogs and felt this was not too warm)
• 77° F when you’re sleeping (even with ceiling fan on 82 was too hot for sleeping)
